On August 9th, 2011 an international workshop “Responsibility, Deep Ecology and the Self” was held in honor of Professor Knut J. Ims on his 60th anniversary at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway. Laszlo Zsolnai gave his lecture under the title “The Ethics of Systems Thinking”. He argued that the Richness of Being can be preserved if we take the whole system view and use multidimensional decision making methodologies to evaluate the ecological, social and cultural aspects adequately.
